The Role of Rubber Crusher Machine

The rubber crusher machine is a key piece of equipment in the waste tire recycling process, primarily used to further process rubber blocks into fine rubber powder.

Through grinding, screening, and magnetic separation, the machine efficiently refines particle size, classifies materials, and removes steel wires. The result is high-purity, high-quality rubber powder, providing an ideal raw material for further reuse.

Main Components and Working Process

The rubber crusher machine typically includes three main systems:

The crushing section consists of a base, machine frame, front and rear rollers, motor, and reducer. During operation, the two rollers rotate in opposite directions at different speeds.

Rubber blocks are fed into the space between the rollers and ground down. The gap between rollers can be adjusted to produce rubber powder of different sizes — the larger the particle size, the higher the output.

After crushing, the rubber particles are sent to a vibrating screener. Here, they are separated into two parts:

  • Qualified particles (correct size) are passed to the next stage.
  • Oversized particles are automatically returned to the crusher for regrinding until they reach the desired size.

To ensure rubber powder purity, fine steel wires embedded in the rubber are removed through two-stage magnetic separation:

  • Primary stage: Double roller magnetic separator for rough removal.
  • Secondary stage: Single roller magnetic separator for fine removal.

The rubber powder is delivered to the magnetic rollers by the vibrating screen. As the powder passes over the rollers, steel wires are attracted and separated by a strong magnetic force. The wires are then released when they reach the non-magnetic zone and collected separately.
After both magnetic stages, the steel content in the rubber powder is reduced to nearly zero, achieving over 99% purity.
